Lia Turton - brief bio

Age - 22
Bike - KTM 250f
Club - 90mxc

Lia had her first bike at age 7, a TY80 and within 5 years was so hooked on MX that she started racing. Her machine was a CR80 and she was racing for Cotswold Youth.

Subsequently Lia rode the team event for Warley Wasps on big wheeled 80s and came 2nd in the schoolgirl championships on a KTM 125. The Weymouth Beach Race attracts hundreds of riders each year to race on the Dorset sands - Lia took part in 2007 and 2008.

Alexe Brace - brief bio in her own words ...

I first got interested in Moto-cross when I was 10 years old as my older brother had just got a bike and he was starting to ride a lot. We used to go and watch him practicing and then racing and I thought I would like to have a go at that.

I got my first bike for Christmas in 2004, it was a Monster 110 pit bike which I used to ride round the local fields and at practice tracks. I then started to get more confident with riding and my brother had joined our local Moto-cross club in Burton on Trent and was racing in AMCA races and I thought I could do that, so again my parents brought me a big wheel Honda CR85 and I started to race in May 2008 when I had just turned 14. I joined the club and started to race.

When I first started to race I was always last but after plenty of practice I am now, usually, finishing in the top 5. I love racing as I am usually the only girl in my group and love to beat the boys, who hate it when I finish above them.

I am just about to change to a 125cc as I have outgrown the 85 and also I am really looking forward to riding in the Ladies British Championship, being able to race against the other top girl riders in the country.

I am lucky to have a great family who love Moto-cross racing, as we all race now (apart from Mum), and also to have great sponsorship from Sheena and John from Dirt Bike Bitch UK.

Kerry Wilson

Scot Kerry Wilson is the newest Dirt Bike Bitch team member. Kerry is the UK National Motocross Champion and has already won it eight times! When she races in Scotland, her only competition is the lads as she is virtually the only female rider up there. She has been riding since the age of six - after watching her Dad race for the first time. Naturally her Dad thought it was just a phase but nevertheless bought her a bike the following Christmas. She never looked back and rides a Kawasaki 250. When Kerry started racing, her Dad was at the side of the track urging her to go faster whilst her Mum was shouting to slow down - eventually Mum gave up, she was onto a loser, Kerry always wanted to go faster. Despite some heavy spills along the way, Kerry has always been back on the track as soon as possible. Her worst crash? Caused by a bloke of course ...

Scott Taylor - brief bio of our 15 second board man ..

Hi, I’m Scott Taylor a 22 year old aspiring model from Burton upon Trent. I was born on the 27th December making me a Capricorn. I am a hardworking individual and like to work hard and play hard. I am very competitive and I like to improve in all areas of life, striving for the ultimate best.

I was introduced to Dirt Bike Bitch UK Ltd by a friend, and I am really happy to be asked to be a role model for this fabulous company. My interests include keeping fit at the gym, playing football and socialising with people.

I play semi-professional football for Rocester on Saturdays and for my local team in Tutbury on Sundays. I really enjoy my job as an electrician and work around the country for a local company.

I love a challenge and have an enthusiasm for life and I am always willing to try anything once. I have a growing interest in motocross racing and look forward to seeing you all at the coming events.
